New Masonry

• Furnish, set-up, maintain, dismantle, and remove all equipment (hydro-mobile scaffolding, forklift, tube scaffolding, ladders, hand tools, etc.) necessary for the new masonry portion of the project.
• Furnish and install meridian size brick veneer (Endicott Rose Blend Smooth 2-1/2” * 16” face) for exterior elevations where brick is shown from 3rd thru 5th floor with an up to 6” * 6” cast stone sill at cap at top as per drawings using natural gray type “N” mortar. Installed in running bond with joints tooled concave. Brick returns included at windows and doors.
• Furnish and install 1” rigid insulation behind all brick install above as per drawings.
• Furnish and install one (1) two-piece adjustable anchor every 16” O.C.
• Furnish and install 40mil self-adhesive flashing over 1-1/2” S.S. drip edge at base of new veneer, below stone, and over openings in veneer with cell vent weeps every 24” O.C.
• Furnish and install mortar trap at base and header flashing locations per plans.
• Furnish and install 8” standard gray smooth faced 2 hour rated CMU for one (1) double elevator shaft and two (2) stairwells from 3rd floor to roof as per drawings, On the second floor 8” CMU is to be install at the pool equipment room and dog wash room per plans. 1st floor walls to be installed with 8” CMU up to 11’-4” tall per plans. CMU to be installed in standard running bond using natural gray type “S” mortar.
• Furnish and install bond beam coursing fully grouted with two (2) continuous grade 60 #5 rebar at each floor and top of walls.
• Furnish and install M.G. ladder wire every 16” O.C.
• Furnish and install one (1) grade 60 #5 rebar every 48” O.C. in fully grouted cells for vertical reinforcement. Additional reinforcement as per structural drawings.
• Furnish and install control joint gaskets every 25’ in 1st floor/second floor CMU walls per plans. Caulking by others.
