Scope of work: New Masonry

Furnish, set-up, maintain, dismantle and remove all equipment (forklift, tube scaffolding, ladders, hand tools, etc.) necessary for the new masonry portion of the project.
Furnish and install standard gray 8” CMU for new masonry perimeter walls as per drawings. Block to be installed in standard running bond using natural gray type ‘S’ mortar. Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed and tooled to final finish.
Furnish and install 8” hook type wire installed in masonry coursing every 16” O.C. vertically.
Furnish and install one (1) grade 60 #4 rebar every 32” O.C. in fully grouted cells as per drawings. Additional grouting and reinforcement as per structurals.
Furnish and install one (1) course of 8” bond beam with at top of walls and at roof height with two (2) continuous grade 60 #4 rebar installed in fully grouted cells as per structurals. Additional grouting as per structurals.
Furnish and install preformed gaskets for up to twelve (12) control joints as per drawings. See alternate to caulk.
Furnish and install norman sized face brick (Sioux City Napa Valleys) necessary for erecting new masonry veneer as per drawings. Brick is to be installed in standard running bond using natural gray type ‘N’ mortar. Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed and tooled to a final finish.
Furnish and install cast stone veneer as per drawings (4x8x24 units, 4x12x24 units, 4” sills, bands, and headers as per drawings.). Stone is to be installed in standard running bond as per drawings using natural gray type ‘N’ mortar. Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed and tooled to a final finish.
Furnish and install one (1) two-piece adjustable anchor attached to substrate every 16” O.C. horizontally and vertically.
Furnish and install one (1) new trash enclosure as per drawings. Trash enclosure to be 8” CMU with brick veneer to match the building as per drawings. Cast stone caps to be furnished and installed as per drawings.
Furnish and install one (1) new monument sign base as per drawings. Monument sign to be 8” CMU with brick and stone veneer to match the building as per drawings. Cast stone caps to be furnished and installed as per drawings.
Furnish and install 40mil self-adhesive flashing over 1-1/2” S.S. drip edge at the base of new masonry veneer and over openings in masonry veneer with cotton rope “weeps” installed in masonry head joints every 24” O.C. 1” mortar trap will be furnished and installed in these same locations.
