New Stone Masonry

  • New CMU MasonryFurnish, set-up, maintain, dismantle and remove all equipment (fork-lift, tube scaffolding, ladders, hand tools, etc.) necessary for new stone masonry portion of the project.
  • Furnish and install approximately 3,100 S.F. of synthetic stone veneer at the exterior elevations of the building, at interior entry wall, and at trash enclosure area as per drawings.  Synthetic stone to be Tuscan Ledge Andes Summit as manufactured by Environmental Stoneworks.
  • Furnish and install stone sills as manufactured by Environmental Stoneworks as per drawings.
  • Installation to consist of covering substrate with felt paper, fastening metal lathe over felt paper using galvanized screws/nails (1 screw/nail per square foot minimum penetrating studs a minimum of 1”), applying scratch coat and lastly synthetic stone.  Mortar to be natural gray type “N” mortar.
  • Once synthetic stone has set all stone joints to be grouted and tooled to final finish. Mortar to be natural gray type “N” mortar.
  • Flashing/weep screed to be installed at the base of stone veneer as necessary.

New CMU Masonry

  • Furnish, set-up, maintain, dismantle, and remove all equipment (fork-lift, tube scaffolding, ladders, hand tools, etc.) necessary for new CMU masonry portion of the project.
  • Furnish and install natural gray smooth faced 8” CMU as necessary to erect new trash enclosures area walls and four (4) piers as per drawings. Block to be installed in standard running bond using natural gray type ‘S” mortar.  Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed, and tooled to a final finish.
  • Furnish and install CMU bond beams fully grouted as per drawings.
  • Furnish and install grade 60 #5 rebar every 32” O.C. in fully grouted cells for vertical reinforcement typically as per drawings.
  • Furnish and install 8” ladder wire in masonry coursing every 16” for horizontal reinforcement.
