Scope of work:

Furnish and install Battleship W/C modular size face brick as manufactured by Boral necessary for erecting new exterior masonry veneer as per drawings (Also, three (3) interior columns at garage entry.). Brick is to be installed in standard running bond using Solomon Color “X” series 20X type ‘S’ mortar. Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed and tooled to a final finish. Furnish and install soldier and rowlock coursing as per drawings.
Furnish and install cast stone veneer at three (3) entryways as per drawings. Cast stone is to be installed in standard running bond using Solomon Color “X” series 20X type ‘S’ mortar. Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed and tooled to a final finish.
Furnish and install one (1) two-piece adjustable anchor attached to substrate every 16” O.C. horizontally and vertically.
Furnish and install 40mil self-adhesive flashing over 1-1/2” stainless steel drip edge at the base of new masonry, at cast stone, and over openings in masonry with cotton rope “weeps” with weep tubes installed in masonry head joints every 24” O.C. as per drawings.
Furnish and install 2” mortar trap at flashing locations as per drawings. Wall cavity below grade to be grouted solid as per drawings.

New masonry, CMU construction

Furnish and install standard gray 8” CMU to complete the remaining CMU work (infill around elevator doors after elevator is installed at three (3) elevator shafts, two (2) one story walls for three (3) stairs at gable ends, one (1) one story dog wash room, three (3) one story entry columns, and two (2) full height trash chute walls). Block to be installed in standard running bond using natural gray type ‘S’ mortar. Mortar joints are to be tooled concave, brushed and tooled to a final finish.
Furnish and install horizontal reinforcing wire for interior block walls every 16” O.C. as per drawings.
Furnish and install one (1) grade 60 #5 rebar every 48” O.C. for vertical reinforcement as per drawings.
Furnish and install fully grouted bond beam coursing with two (2) grade 60 #5 rebar installed continuously at tops of walls, above openings, and at floor levels as per drawings.
